She's still setting.

Why I don't know. I guess they can't tell when it's a waste of time.  Shake Head

She is probably a young hen. wtf? Did you remove the eggs and distroy the nest? If not do it or she will end up killing herself.

I took her off the eggs today and got rid of the nest.

While she had me occupied defending myself from her attacks the male got out of the pen.  Full of crap

I forget to finish the story. Wink

I only have the one male.

I grabbed my net and tried to sneak up on him. He took off and landed in a pine tree 15 feet or so off the ground.
So I grabbed a branch and puled the tree over as I swung the net up.

I got him back  Yay! Missing a few feathers but I got him.

I know that feeling Pete when one get out and its the only one that you have. I had a Red Golden male get out once and he was my only male. I saw him for about 10 seconds and never saw him again and I mean never.

She was still in bed.

Did I tell you about the poison ivy on my property. Well I'm very lucky to only have one very small area of it.
About a 4'x8' spot. It's probably only one trailing vine. I just sprayed it Sunday.
It's located at the very end of my pheasant pens.
Under a small pine tree.........Ya you guessed it. When I caught the bird I was standing in it.
I had to wrestle with the bird a bit on the ground so I could get a hold of him.

I am itchy as a bastard.   Full of crap

True story.

I hope it's all in my head. Haha...NOT
